I’m guessing by the outfit and the grip on that revolver he’s a security guard somewhere on his way to work.
I’m also guessing by his left arm and the tilt of his helmet that he’s running late

He was lighting a cigarette when I snapped the picture which explains the tilt. He also had long hair which is usually a no no for security.
Also, this was a single action, not standard double action security type.

Ah yes, lighting a cigarette.
I’m still thinking security from what he’s wearing. Not all security jobs have hair built into their dress code.
How can you tell if it’s a single or double-action revolver from that pic?

I took the picture, which my eyes see better than zooming in through my phone.
I could be wrong but that grip style is more typical of single actions and it looked like it had a little loading window (no idea what it’s called) vs a swing out style cylinder.
I had an old .22 revolver that had that grip style and the same loading mechanism but was double action so theyre not hard and fast rules but generalizations. Modern double actions typically have a more normal grip vs the big hook like grip of a single action.

I’m familiar with those old western-style revolvers. Dad used to have a Colt .22 with that awkward loading/unloading access thing.
If it is a single action revolver, what a terrible choice of carry weapon. Security or personal protection..

That was my thought. I know people can be really good/fast with them but it takes so much practice. Reloading is a problem as well.
He struck me as the kid in high school that wore a leather duster and wide brim hat and carried a whip. Upgraded to revolver when he turned 21.
Once again, I could be wrong and it’s a double action with a swing out cylinder but that’s not what it looked like to me.
All the revolver packing security I see carry stainless steel, not blued, magnums. Down here in the south, humidity and sweat are a concern for those who carry

What did the kid carry before the whip? Bow staff? Rape whistle?
